Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit manuscripts to the Journal of Management, Economy and Technology. Each submission undergoes an initial assessment to verify its alignment with the journal's scope and editorial guidelines. Manuscripts that meet these requirements are sent for double-anonymous peer review. On the basis of the reviews, the Editorial Team decides whether the manuscript will be accepted for publication or rejected.

Before submitting a manuscript, Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to use and publish any materials covered by third-party rights that are included in the submission, such as photographs, illustrations, documents, or datasets. Authorship should be limited exclusively to individuals who have made a significant contribution to the preparation of the manuscript.

The Editorial Team may reject a submission at the initial assessment stage if the manuscript does not comply with the journal’s profile, editorial guidelines, or publication ethics standards. Before submission, please ensure that the manuscript has been prepared correctly in terms of content, formal requirements, and references. The title should be concise, and the abstract should clearly present the aim and main assumptions of the article. Before submitting the manuscript, please verify that the submission complies with the checklist below.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • Compliance with the Author Guidelines.
  • Alignment with the journal's scope and thematic areas.
  • No prior publication and no simultaneous submission to other journals.
  • Originality of the manuscript and no infrigement of third-party rights.
  • Accuracy and completeness of all references, with citations and bibliography formatted according to APA 7.
  • Proper numbering and labelling of all tables and figures.
  • Permissions have been obtained for the use and publication of all photographs, illustrations, tables, charts, datasets, and other materials covered by third-party rights included in this submission.
  • Authorship limited to individuals who made a significant contribution to the manuscript.
  • Disclosure of any use of AI tools in the preparation of the manuscript, if applicable.

Articles

JMET accepts original research articles and review articles submitted in Polish or English, provided that they are consistent with the journal’s profile and thematic scope. Submitted manuscripts should be prepared in accordance with the editorial guidelines.
